During a recent episode of the Toyota Halftime podcast, Kendrick Perkins gave his opinion on the upcoming game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Phoenix Suns. He said that the Timberwolves are one of the most physical teams in the league. He also noted that Phoenix Suns are always crying and referred to Suns players as cry babies.
“One of the most physical teams in the league, in the Minnesota Timberwolves… All we keep seeing is the Phoenix Suns crying. I mean, if they’re going to do this much crying, what are the babies gonna do?” Kendrick Perkins said during the podcast.

Phoenix Suns may struggle in the playoffs due to a lack of bench size
Around six months ago, there was a lot of buzz surrounding the Phoenix Suns as potential NBA Finals contenders. However, they only managed to win 49 games in the regular season and ended up in sixth place in their conference.
The Suns have a star-studded lineup featuring Bradley Beal, Devin Booker, and Kevin Durant. In recent months, they have given up many draft picks to acquire Beal and Durant.
Additionally, they had to let go of an up-and-coming player, Mikal Bridges, in acquiring Durant back in February of last year. Since then, Bridges has blossomed into an outstanding player for the Brooklyn Nets, on the cusp of greatness.

Phoenix may struggle in the playoffs due to a lack of bench size. This could be an issue against the Timberwolves in the first round or against the Nuggets or Lakers in the second.
Perkins’ disrespectful comments towards the Phoenix Suns may have hurt Suns fans. The ongoing game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Phoenix Suns is intriguing, and it will be interesting to see who emerges victorious.
