Jayson Tatum wasn’t afraid to call out a special guest prior to Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys attended Game 1 between Tatum’s Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat of the conference finals at TD Garden on Wednesday night. Prior to the game, there was a friendly exchange between Parsons and Tatum.
During the brief interaction, Tatum called out Parsons for being a bandwagon fan — noting that he previously saw Parsons wearing a Philadelphia 76ers jersey. Tatum’s Celtics eliminated Philly in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Sunday.

And so, as you may guess, social media wasted little time calling out Parsons for being a bandwagon NBA fan during the Celtics-Heat game. Even Matthew Judon of the New England Patriots couldn’t pass up the opportunity…
The 2021 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and starred for the Penn State Nittany Lions’ football program. So it’s obviously no surprise that he grew up supporting the 76ers.
But to suddenly flip to the archrival Celtics, who’ve eliminated the 76ers in the postseason three times dating back to 2018? It’s no wonder fans were quick to call out for Parsons for being a bandwagon fan.
