NBA trade rumors are flying left and right, as some of the biggest names in the game appear to be on the block.
One of those names is Russell Westbrook, who’s been moving around quite a bit as he enters the twilight years of his career. The latest rumors have the Los Angeles Lakers’ guard getting shipped to Brooklyn in a deal that would see Kyrie Irving go the other way.
This deal would bring about the possibility of Westbrook reuniting with Kevin Durant for the first time since their Oklahoma City days. But what’s even more interesting is the possible pairing of Westbrook and Ben Simmons.
It goes without saying that a starting backcourt of Simmons and Westbrook would give the Nets one of the worst shooting backcourts in NBA history. But for those who needed a little reminder, Colin Cowherd has you covered.
Shots fired! At least he didn’t call him “Westbrick.”
