It’s not a secret that Colby Covington can’t stand LeBron James. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar has earned some enemies thanks to his political views, and the UFC fighter is one of them.
Back in August, Covington started attacking LeBron, calling him out over his political opinions, especially against Donald Trump.
Even when the waters are calm, Colby always seems to take some time to call out the Lakers star.
The former interim UFC welterweight champion was back it again during a recent interview where he called the 4-time MVP out for being targets on the backs of firsr responders.
“God bless the first responders. God bless, you know, all our law enforcement officials who are protecting our country, keeping our communities safe and keeping the criminals off the streets. So, you know, it’s not an easy job.”
“They got targets on their back because woke athletes like Lebron James, who you know, just, you know, want to put targets on these innocent people’s lives, lives on their heads, you know. And these are the same people he calls to protect his family and give him private security. So, it just shows the hypocrisy.”

Earlier this year, Covington said that his ‘I Promise’ school wasn’t anything else than a way to avoid paying taxes.
“I wasn’t going to let him dupe the people and make the people think he’s a social justice warrior and he’s on this pedestal,” Covington said. “No, LeBron James is not on a pedestal. That guy is a piece of crap. He’s a piece of garbage. He uses that school that he’s funding as a tax write off and then he wants to claim that he’s some good guy. No, he’s not a good guy, man. All he cares about is lining his own pockets and bowing down to China.”
Much like many of haters, LeBron will likely never respond to Covington and the things he says about him.
