Colby Covington continued his one-sided beef with LeBron James this week. He unleashed a vulgar anti-LeBron rant ahead of UFC 296.
LeBron James went viral Tuesday for sitting down during the National Anthem at his son’s USC Trojans basketball game. Video shows LeBron entering the arena for his son’s USC Trojans basketball game and and nt only sitting mid-National Anthem, but also not removing his cap.
UFC star Colby Covington had seen enough and launched into a tirade on Wednesday night as he prepared to take on Leon Edwards in a welterweight bout at UFC 296 over the weekend.
“If you hate America so much, and you don’t like this country that gave you a billion dollars – leave it. Or come deal with me. Go to China. Go to these sweatshops that you employ all these laborers and use these women and pay them pennies on the dollar to make your millions.
“F— you, LeBron James. You’re a coward. You’re a spineless coward and you’re a b—-.”
This isn’t the first time Covington has taken shots at James, as he called out LeBron after beating Tyron Woodley back in September 2020. His issues seem to be with his politics as James does not care for former President Donald Trump, while Covington has long been a vocal supporter of Trump.
Much like the previous other times he has called out LeBron, the Lakers star is unlikely to respond and give him any attention.

Covington and Edwards’ fight is coming up on Saturday, December 16th, and will be the main event of UFC 296
James did not play in Wednesday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs.
