The Los Angeles Clippers lost by a point against the Minnesota Timberwolves in their latest game. As the team regroups to come back stronger, they are also waiting desperately for the return of their star prospect, Kawhi Leonard. Injuring his right knee, Leonard has been unavailable throughout the regular season for the Clippers. This meant that the Clippers have now been without Leonard’s services for 21 games.
During this time, the Clippers had a bittersweet run, getting 12 wins and 9 losses. Last weekend it was the former Clippers guard who mentioned that the 33-year-old is recovering well, and is close to an NBA return. Now, filling the fans’ minds with further excitement, Clippers HC Tyronn Lue had some interesting news to share.

“He’s progressing well… He’s been able to get on the court and do some things on the court, which is good for us. So, just still checking every box, making sure that he’s doing the right things and his workouts are really good, and making sure we don’t let him get to the next step until he checks those boxes, so our medical staff has done a great job with that, making sure that we make sure he’s 100% when he comes back,” said Lue. Meanwhile, despite his continued absence, Kawhi Leonard recently got trolled for his Halloween activities.
