Charles Barkley’s relatives won’t be too thrilled to hear this news.
In an appearance on the Pat McAfee show Friday, while discussing LIV Golf, the NBA legend said that he would “kill a relative” to make that sort of money that has been given out to golfers to join the league.
“I don’t judge other people,” Barkley began, referencing the golfers who defected from the PGA Tour. “If someone gave me $200 million, I’d kill a relative.”
McAfee would then join in and added, “That’s it, I’m not sure if we can do anything else after that,” McAfee said. “I don’t know what the next question would be.”
“Hey, I’m serious,” Barkley said. “Phil Mickelson got 200 million dollars and Dustin Johnson got 150 million dollars. Hey, for 150 million dollars, I’d kill a relative. Even one I liked!”
Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Sergio Garcia, and Bryson Dechambeau are just a few of the golfers who took LIV’s massive payday, setting off controversy in the world of golf.

As of right now, the NBA Hall of Famer carries a net worth of $50 million, so his family can sleep with both eyes closed at night.
“I’m just gonna get drunk and watch golf all day today, all day Saturday and all day Sunday,” Barkley said.
