The TNT analyst provided his thoughts on the point guard on ESPN’s Get Up and they were not-so-nice:

When LeBron took his talents to the West, the Boston Celtics were looked at as the favorites to win the Eastern Conference. Unfortunately, the squad has struggled all year long with being consistent, which has them with a 39-26 record, good for 5th place in the conference.
Over the past few weeks, Irving has been in his feelings and talking about it in the media.
“I didn’t really come into this game to be cameras in my face, be famous, be a celebrity, whatever embodies that,” Irving said Monday, per Tom Westerholm of MassLive.com. “It’s a little hard for me. I wanted those things when I was younger, but now…I just want to play basketball at a very high level.”
Irving has won a championship alongside LeBron James, but he would soon force his way out of Cleveland to escape the shadow of The King. It has not worked out to well for him.
