The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a crushing loss at the hands of the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 of the playoffs. It was due to many factors, including D’Angelo Russell’s poor performance in the game. However, many people took the easy way out and blamed head coach Darvin Ham for the Lakers’ struggle.
Former NBA player Chandler Parson spoke on the matter, coming onto the defense of Darvin Ham. He argued that no coach in the NBA currently possesses the quality to realize what the fans expect from Ham. “Find me anybody in the world that can coach this Lakers team to victory against this Denver Nuggets team…There’s no coach that can coach them to beat that team,” said Parsons.
He pointed out that there is no coach in the world who can coach the Los Angeles Lakers to victory over the mighty Nuggets. Parson’s statement is partially right; the current lineup of the Denver Nuggets is far superior to that of the Lakers. The Lakers will need to do some serious overhauls to the current roster if they want to get past the Nuggets in the future.

You know it’s tough; you have to keep the scoreboard moving,” said Ham, explaining that consistent scoring is very important to winning games.
