Jrue Holiday is ready to switch professions! At the moment, Holiday is chasing one more title with the Boston Celtics after clinching his second NBA ring recently. While the Celtics are looking impressive with an 18-4 record, Holiday seems to be looking out for other opportunities, too. Surprisingly, the NBA star’s choice of profession is quite unusual.
Holiday wants to get into the ring with popular YouTuber turned-boxer Jake Paul! Now, this might seem like a mismatch initially. After all, Paul has established himself as a good boxer and has won over some difficult opponents. However, his recent face-off with veteran Mike Tyson has created a surge of excitement for the 3x NBA All-Defensive First Team member.
However, Holiday has his priorities sorted. Despite agreeing to a fight, the Celtics star has some conditions that need to be fulfilled. Appearing in a recent episode of ‘Podcast P with Paul George,’ Holiday laid down his clauses to fight Jake Paul.
Paul George: “$50 mil. Cash money. You get 7 months to train, Jake Paul calls you out, you taking the fight?”

Jrue Holiday: “$50 mil?”
PG: “Might have to take that dive.”
Jrue: “Make it look realistic.” 😅

According to the NBA star, he would require at least seven months of time before the bout. Holiday is expected to use the time to hone boxing skills to get the better of ‘The Problem Child.’ He also demanded a whopping contract of $50 million in order to show up for the fight. Now, while this is surely going to stir up the hoops community, this was not the only instance of Jrue Holiday getting the limelight.
