While Jayson Tatum is getting ready with the Boston Celtics to face the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals, Miami Heat’s Bam Adebayo gave him a break by publicly mocking him for one of his previous advertisements.
The All-Star center tagged the Celtics forward with the caption “She stole your pose” in an X post that shows a kid tilting her head with a hand on the back of her neck. The picture reminded Adebayo of Tatum, who had a similar pose for promoting the brand “Coach.”
In March, when Tatum posted the picture on Instagram as the brand’s new face, the Heat man commented “Sassy King” on the post, but it seems Adebayo is still not over it.
This is not the first time that Adebayo has tried to pull Tatum’s leg. The duo had earlier engaged in a hilarious exchange on X when the Celtics ace shared about getting a haircut. Their comments went back and forth, entertaining the fans.

Due to his constant impressive showings on the court, the 26-year-old forward has new ventures in his growing marketability, with the latest one giving him a taste of greatness.
Jayson Tatum Stars in Gatorade Ad Narrated by Michael Jordan
Gatorade aired its new commercial campaign on May 29 that stars the new generation of players like Jayson Tatum, A’ja Wilson, Caitlin Clark, Josh Allen, Sydney Mclaughlin Levrone, DJ Lagway and others, with NBA legend and the campaign’s integral member Michael Jordan narrating the advertisement.
According to the company’s market research, “external factors like social pressures and unrealistic expectations” have restricted Gen Z from pursuing their interest in sports. The ad is a resurrection of their previous campaign, “Is It In You,” and focuses on inspiring the next generation to get themselves involved more in the athletic field.
Gatorade’s Chief Brand Officer stated, “The return of ‘Is It In You?’, our biggest campaign of all time, is about acknowledging how much the sports landscape has changed, while reminding athletes that one thing hasn’t—the inner drive that fuels you—and that’s what matters most.”
While things are on an upward trajectory for Jayson Tatum off the court, the Cs talisman will hope to be on top of the NBA food chain once the NBA Finals start.
