The Boston Celtics have a rich history as they still currently lead all teams in the NBA in most championships won.
It’s not often that the organization strays away from tradition, but that is definitely going to happen this year after Boston forward Enes Kanter leaked an image of the apparent new jersey on his Instagram story.
To say fans hated it was an understatement.
“I would love to have a contrarian ‘actually those Celtics jerseys are good’ take but lmao they are an abomination,” Boston beat writer Tom Westerholm said on Twitter.

“One of the worst jerseys in the history of sports… Please don’t wear these,” a fan said.
“My daughter will be ecstatic when she sees she won the Celtics city jersey design contest. Her 2nd grade class will be thrilled for her,” a Celtics fan said.
