Enes Kanter is one of those guys in the NBA who has an eccentric personality that has him destined to being on TV somewhere when his career in the NBA is over.
As it turns out, the Boston Celtics big man may have a future in the wresting business as he is eyeing a career in the WWE.
The 27-year-old recently did a video interview with NBA insider Shams Charania and made his big announcement.
“Definitely becoming a WWE wrestler, for sure,” Kanter said when asked what he intends to do once his stint in the NBA ends. “I actually already have this offer from WWE, but I’m like, ‘Dude, I need to finish my basketball career first.’ After this I’m definitely becoming one.”
Before Gronk this year, Enes Kanter actually won WWE’s 24/7 title at Madison Square Garden in 2019.
