The city of Boston has seen better days when it comes to its professional sports teams.
Boston sports fans endured some terrible heartache this year as the Bruins and Celtics both lost at home in Game 7.
They were supposed to make history and in a shocking way, they actually did.
After trailing three games to none in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Boston Celtics won three straight to force a Game 7 decider. In the process, Boston became not only the first club in NBA history to force a deciding Game 7 after losing the first three games of the series, but also the first team to host Game 7.
Unfortunately for the Celtics, as well as the Boston Bruins, they would both lose a Game 7 on their home floor and ice and did so to an 8th-seed.
In Game 7 between the Bruins and the Panthers, Florida scored first to take a 1-0 lead in the first period.

In Monday night’s Game 7 between the Celtics and Heat, Boston star Jayson Tatum rolled his left ankle on the first shot of the game and never looked the same the rest of the way. He would finish the game with 14 points on 5-for-13 shooting.
The Celtics are expected to look quite different as the tandem of Tatum and Brown may no longer be a duo going forward.
