Caris LeVert, who re-signed with the Cavs this summer, is not thrilled with the way he was treated during a recent house party.
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Caris LeVert is sure to be more careful when he has people over to his home.
TMZ reports that LeVert, who came to the Cavs in a trade with the Indiana Pacers in 2022, is seeking help from the LAPD in finding out who stole a $93,000 watch lifted out of his home during a party on Aug. 1st.
According to the report, “Someone was seen in LeVert’s bedroom during the festivities … and when the hooper went to check on the situation, he noticed his watch case was open.”
LeVert filed a report for grand theft with the LAPD, which is investigating the crime, according to TMZ.
This stolen watch situation comes on the heels of him signing a two-year, $32 million contract with the Cavaliers.
LeVert was an All-Big Ten player at Michigan who then joined the NBA in 2016 as a first-round draft pick of the Indiana Pacers, who then traded his draft rights to the Nets. In January 2021, Brooklyn traded LeVert back to Indianapolis as part of the four-team trade with the Cavaliers and Rockets which sent James Harden to Brooklyn and Victor Oladipo to Houston.

One year later, Indianapolis sent LeVert to the Cavs as part of the Ricky Rubio deal.
This past season, LeVert shot a career-high 39.2 percent on three-point field-goal attempts.
