The Memphis Grizzlies could be without Ja Morant at the start of next season. His play in 2022-23 showed what the team would be missing. Morant is expected to face a lengthy suspension to start the upcoming season after he flashed a gun on Instagram Live.
Legendary rapper Cam’ron has reflected on getting kicked out of college for carrying a gun while advising Ja Morant to focus on his bright career in the NBA.
The Dipset rapper took to Instagram to share throwback photos of his college basketball days at Navarro Junior College in Texas while reflecting on getting kicked out for hitting someone with a gun.
He went on to advise Morant, who has recently been facing his own consequences for carrying a weapon, to focus on his career.
“I was on bull shit in college,” Cam’ron wrote. “I got kicked out for pistol-whipping a n-gga. (Which I don’t condone) lucky I had a plan B and C. Ja don’t be me you can’t rap!!! Lol as you can see its a lil blurry but it was still the set.”

Nobody knows when Morant will hear about his suspension from Adam Silver. He just might wait until the Denver Nuggets have their championship parade so the focus still remains on them and what they accomplished.
The Denver Nuggets won the NBA Finals Monday night, making it the first title in the team’s 47-year NBA history. The Nuggets defeated the Miami Heat by a score of 94-89, winning the best-of-seven series in five games.
Nuggets center Nikola Jokić led the way with 28 points and 16 rebounds and was named the NBA Finals’ most valuable player.
