The Fanatics Fest in New York garnered fans’ attention due to the presence of NBA stars, Knicks legends, celebrities, and popular streamers. One video from the event has been doing rounds on social media. Speed’s athleticism caught the Knicks forward off guard, and Hart gave a hilarious reaction to his backflip.
During the event, Knicks stars Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart shared the stage with veteran rapper Lil Wayne. However, Speed’s act of athleticism was compelling as he volunteered to show off his backflip.
But, the 19-year-old streamer, who wanted to impress the Knicks duo with his athleticism, wanted to do the stunt while standing on the armrest of Hart’s couch. As Speed stepped on the armrest, Hart hilariously moved away from the couch, saying, “Not part of this!”
Despite other celebrities persuading Hart to keep sitting, the Knicks forward was suspicious of the act and stood by his words. Meanwhile, Lil Wayne backed Hart and told Speed, “You might just kick Josh. Be careful, okay? You might just kick Josh on the face!” Eventually, Speed went on to perform the backflip with a different person and rocked it.

During the Fanatics Fest, English soccer giants Manchester City gave Jalen Brunson a No. 11 jersey. Hart, a supporter of Man City’s rival club Chelsea, wasn’t pleased with the gift. The New York Knicks shared the picture of their new captain with the Manchester City shirt and captioned it, “Mr. New York.”

The Knicks finished second in the Eastern Conference with a 50-32 record. However, they were knocked out 4-3 in the semi-finals against the Indiana Pacers. With their new captain, Jalen Brunson, the New York Knicks will look to end their 51-year title drought in the 2024-25 NBA regular season.
