Philadelphia 76ers fans had every reason to be excited about Game 4 against the Miami Heat at the Wells Fargo Center on Sunday night. Not only did their team draw even in the series thanks to a 116-108 victory, but they were also treated to James Harden’s best performance of the postseason to date.
It was vintage Beard tonight, as Harden poured in a team-high 31 points while going 6-of-10 from three-point range.
The building was pretty raucous from start to finish, but even all that commotion wasn’t enough to keep one courtside Sixers fan from falling asleep during the third quarter.
At the time, the Sixers were only leading by four points in a tight contest. So the man couldn’t have been bored. It’s much more likely he had one too many adult beverages.
The good news is he and the rest of the Sixers fans will get to see their team play at least one more home game this season thanks to tonight’s victory. Maybe sleepyhead will be able to stay awake for that one.
