The Chicago Bulls star guard Alex Caruso found himself lying on the court last night after he collided with his fellow teammate. The Bulls were facing the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday in a Play-In game when this incident happened.
In the second quarter of the game, Alex Caruso collided with his teammate Andre Drummond, who has a massive build and is someone you wouldn’t want to collide with. The incident was captured on video and posted online.
In the footage, Drummond can be seen moving back on defense while Caruso focuses on a Hawks player. Suddenly, Drummond crashes into Alex, sending him tumbling to the ground. Caruso was visibly in pain after the collision and reportedly sprained his left ankle.

NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski has since released information regarding Caruso’s condition. He informed the NBA community that the collision left the Bulls guard with injuries that made him questionable for their upcoming game.

Starting as the least experienced ballboy at the university where his parents worked, he eventually earned the first-ever NBA two-way contract. Bulls walk past the Atlanta Hawks in the Playoff game
The Atlanta Hawks could not keep their playoff dream alive as the Chicago Bulls crushed it right in front of them. The Bulls dominated the game and secured victory with a final score of 131-116. Coby White shined as the game’s hero, scoring a career-high 42 points to help his team secure the win.
The Bulls will now face the Miami Heat on Friday night to secure the 8th seed in the eastern conference. Beating the Hawks allowed them to avenge their loss to the Heat in the 2023 Play-In game. If the Bulls manage to beat Miami, they will go on to face the Boston Celtics in the first round of the Playoffs.
