The latest NBA injury report comes from Milwaukee today, where the Bucks’ star Damian Lillard reportedly suffered an injury. This is not good news for the Bucks and their fans, as Giannis is already out, and losing Dame would spell even bigger trouble.
Chris Haynes, Senior NBA Insider for TNT and Bleacher Report, revealed this news on his official X (formerly Twitter) account. According to him, Damian Lillard has suffered a grade 1 Achilles strain and is doubtful for the upcoming playoff game against the Pacers.

If this turns out to be the situation at the Bucks camp and Dame missed Game 4, it would be a tough night for the Bucks and their fans. Lillard suffered this injury in Game 3 against the Pacers, which the Bucks ultimately lost. The Athletic’s Shams Charania has also reported on the situation, confirming Haynes statements.
Charania revealed that Lillard’s availability for game 4 is in “serious doubt” after getting injured. He added that Dame has been playing through significant soreness, making the matter worse. Lillard was seen limping off the court late in the first quarter of Game 3 after Pascal Siakam landed on his heel while contesting a layup.
What’s next for Damian Lillard’s Milwaukee Bucks?
The Milwaukee Bucks are currently 2-1 against the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the NBA playoffs. They have been without their ace, Giannis Antetokounmpo, since he suffered a left calf injury in early April against the Boston Celtics. The Bucks have been relying on Damian Lillard in the absence of Giannis, and now, if Dame also sits out, things will be very hard for the Bucks.

It would be a tough Game 4 without Dame, especially when Pacers’ stars Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam are in great form. The Bucks will have to do everything in their power to win the next game. If they fail to do so, the Pacers would have a great advantage over them, and the Bucks would have to play an elimination game at home.
