As Brooklyn Nets reporter Erik Slater was discussing guard Spencer Dinwiddie during a Twitter Spaces session, he was involved in an automobile accident.
Slater stops dead in his tracks while he’s talking, the sound of tires screaming and car crashes audible in the distance.
After the crash and confirming that he’s okay, Slater says “I’ve got to head out, guys” before logging off the Twitter space.
The Nets are currently attempting to determine their future as a franchise in the midst of losing superstars Kyrie Irving, James Harden, and Kevin Durant and recent years.
