Bronny James has been hyped up for a long time now in the NBA. However, more often than not, James Jr. has been dismissed by the critics as a gimmick. Making an appearance alongside his legendary father, LeBron James, Bronny went into the history books forever. Sadly enough, once again, his glory moment was discarded as ‘fabricated.’ But as things stand at present, Bronny James might be having more of an impact than it meets the naked eye.
At just 20 years old, Bronny broke his father’s rookie record. In a surprising piece of update, James Jr. has been dominating the merchandise sales for the Los Angeles Lakers. Till now, over 500,000 jerseys have been sold at $100 apiece. This has resulted in the Lakers generating a total of $50 million in revenue.

These are surely impressive numbers for a rookie who is yet to make a significant mark in the league. What’s even more interesting is that the 500,000 jersey sale is more than what LeBron could manage to sell in his rookie year. Thus, these numbers can only be expected to increase with time. In the long run, Bronny James could become one of the Lakers’ biggest assets. Meanwhile, James Jr. was recently found spitting fire in the G-league.
