LeBron James’ eldest son, Bronny James, has reportedly made some startling revelations pertaining to his father’s future.
The Los Angeles Lakers star is done for the season after getting swept by the Denver Nuggets and, speaking to reporters after Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, revealed he isn’t sure he’ll be back next season.
Many chalked this up to post-game emotions and no one’s really bought that the 20-year vet is actually considering retirement as he would be walking away from $97 million. There’s also the fact that Bronny is now just a year away from joining him in the NBA, something LBJ has been waiting on for a long time.
LeBron has also shown very little decline after playing for two decades, so it’s hard to imagine him walking away.
However, according to the Mock Trades Instagram account, Bronny has revealed that his dad is really leaning towards retiring, adding that the four-time NBA champion is keen on developing his kids, presumably Bronny and Bryce.
The USC commit is reported to have said this in an Instagram Live video we’re yet to see. But, if he really said so, it won’t be too long before it surfaces.

LeBron could feel like he has nothing else to achieve after winning four rings and four MVP Awards, among multiple other accolades. The 38-year-old now sits atop the NBA all-time scorers list after passing Kareem Abdul Jabbar in February. But it would really come as a surprise if he really does walk away.
