It was back in 2017 when Turner’s TNT debuted a brand-new NBA franchise titled “Players Only” that centered on showcasing the game exclusively through the unique lens of the professional basketball player.
It may have started off good, but it quickly became something to complain about as fans did not like it whatsoever.
Fans won’t have to worry about it anymore.
On Wednesday, The Athletic’s Richard Deitsch announced TNT has decided not to air it during the upcoming 2019-2020 season.
This might be a good reason as to why fans are happy to see it go:
