The Houston Rockets just hit a major snag after Russell Westbrok took to social media to announce he has COVID-19.
He released the following statement:
Westbrook was averaging 27.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game in a brilliant debut season in Houston before the season went on hiatus. Westbrook’s 47.4% shooting clip is the best of his 12-year NBA career.
The Rockets (40-24) will enter the restart tied for the No. 5 spot in the tightly packed Western Conference, and they can finish anywhere between No. 2 and No. 7 when the regular season concludes.
They have already clinched their spot in the 2020 NBA playoffs.
