It’s day two of free agency in the NBA and things are still as crazy now as it was at 6:00pm EST.
On Monday, the Portland Trail Blazers pulled off a massive trade that got them Hassan Whiteside in exchange for Mo Harkless and Meyers Leonard.
It’s officially done.
Whiteside averaged 12.3 points and 11.3 rebounds per game during the 2018 season and that was all done while averaging a little over 23 minutes played a game for a role that had decreased with the Heat.
The trade will give Portland a very capable starter while Jusuf Nurkic continues to recover from the horrific leg injury that cut short his 2018-19 campaign.
