Al Horford was never a good fit for the 76ers.
That relationship is now over after the team traded him to the OKC Thunder.
In exchange, the Thunder are sending Danny Green and Terrance Ferguson to Philadelphia. The 76ers sent a 2025 first round pick to the Thunder and the No. 34 overall pick in this year’s draft.
With Daryl Morey leading the team’s basketball operations, it was almost a foregone conclusion that the 76ers would be active today.
Horford averaged 11.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per game last season in Philadelphia, his 13th in the league. The 34-year-old is just one year into a four-year, $109 million deal.
