The New York Knicks just made a major move on Sunday when the team traded for Derrick Rose.
According to The Athletic, the rebuilding Pistons and Rose agreed to look into finding a new spot and decided to send him to his former coach Tom Thibodeau in New York.
The Pistons would receive Dennis Smith Jr. and draft compensation.
Rose is averaging 14.2 points, 4.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game this season.
The Knicks are 11-13 and currently sit as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference. Bringing in Rose would give them a solid veteran scorer and shot creator to add to the mix.
