BREAKING: Mavericks Finalizing Deal To Acquire Kristaps Porzingis

Well, that moved fairly quickly.

On Thursday, Kristaps Porzingis had a meeting with the New York Knicks front office to talk about his unhappiness with the direction of the team and the constant losing since he’s been there. He left that meeting with the intentions of wanting to be traded.

Things progressed very quickly as the Dallas Mavericks made a call and soon had Porzingis on th esquad.

The Mavericks have agreed to take on the contracts of Tim Hardaway Jr. and Courtney Lee to faciliate a Porzingis trade and are working to complete the transaction today, league sources say
