It actually happened.
After winning 2 NBA Champions and two NBA Finals MVP’s, Kevin Durant has decided to take his talents elsewhere and play for the Brooklyn Nets going forward.
The Nets had looked like the frontrunner to sign Durant for more than a week and their wish of signing one of the biggest free agents this offseason has come true.
Durant is expected to miss the entire 2019-2020 season due to his ruptured Achilles he suffered in the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors. I’m sure Brooklyn Nets fans won’t mind one bit.
This past season, Durant averaged 26 points, 6.4 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.1 blocks per game. In the playoffs, he averaged 32.3 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 4.5 apg and 1 bpg.
