Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns shared a statement on his Twitter account revealing he has tested positive for Covid and is currently taking the necessary precautions.
Tonight’s game between the T-Wolves and the Memphis Grizzlies has since been postponed due to the Covid.
Heres KAT’s statement:
This is obviously an especially scary circumstance for Towns, who revealed back in December that he had already lost seven family members due to Covid, including his mother.
No word on Town’s condition or whether he’s experiencing any symptoms. Here’s hoping or a safe recovery for the All-Star forward. You’d have to think this is difficult for him mentally, after all he’s been through.
