Isaiah Thomas has found a new home.
On Monday, it was announced that the former Denver Nuggets bench player would be taking his talents to the Washington Wizards on a 1-year deal.
The 30-year-old missed much of the 2018-19 season while recovering from hip surgery, playing 12 games for the Denver Nuggets off their bench. He averaged 8.1 points and 1.9 assists in 15.1 minutes per contest—shooting just 34.3 percent from the field and 27.9 percent from three—and fell out of the rotation entirely in the postseason, making zero appearances.
Thomas should see a bunch of playing time with John Wall being out for the entire year.
