Finally! The Houston Rockets have found themselves a trade partner to unload Carmelo Anthony on.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Rockets sent Melo and cash to the Chicago Bulls. No word yet on who or what they’ll receive in return, but it’s not expected to be much, if anything.
Woj also said that Melo is not expected to play a single game for the Bulls. Instead, he’ll be released immediately after the trade and become a free agent. The trade will not won’t go through until Tuesday, as league offices are off for MLK Day.
