With no sports happening for the foreseeable future, sports shows have nothing to talk about except for things related to the coronavirus.
With numerous leagues suspending or cancelling play due to the spread of the COVID-19, there have been many questions as to what debate shows would even do going forward.
Well, Fox Sports 1 has made their decision.
Citing “an abundance of caution,” the network is suspending live production for a week.
“Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to suspend production of our live FS1 daily studio shows through at least Friday, March 20,” FOX Sports said in a release to The Big Lead. “Our top priority is the health and safety of our employees. We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust accordingly.”
The move impacts shows like First Things First, Undisputed with Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe, The Herd, Speak for Yourself, and Lock it In.
