Last week, it was reported that former NBA player Sebastian Telfair was in the midst of weapons possession trial that turned into a “Basketball Wives” episode when his estranged wife and mistress showed up to testify against him. If that wasn’t crazy enough, his current girlfriend was also there.
The court stemmed from a June 2017 incident where he and his girlfriend were caught on a Sunday morning with a trunk full of contraband that included three loaded firearms, one semi-automatic rifle, a bulletproof vest and two bags of marijuana.
Telfair plead not guilty, but nearly two years later, a jury didn’t rule in his favor as he was found guilty of felony criminal possession of a weapon on Wednesday, according to TMZ.
Telfair is due back in court in June for sentencing where he faces up to 15 years in prison.
