On Tuesday, it was reported that Boston Celtics legend Tommy Heinsohn passed away at the age of 86.
Here is what people might remember him for as a broadcaster who was very animated:
Tommy Heinsohn, who has twice been inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as both a player and a coach, was hospitalized back in June for several weeks after dealing with a blood-clotting issue, according to the Boston Globe’s Chad Finn.
Heinsohn played for the Celtics from 1956-65 and won eight titles playing alongside Bill Russell and Bob Cousy.
