The Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals clash between the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers witnessed the presence of the legendary figure, Bill Belichick. Being a coaching fraternity member of Boston, it comes as no surprise that Belichick visited the TD Garden to extend his support for the Cs.
The former NFL coach was spotted sitting beside the franchise’s president of basketball operations, Brad Stevens. The two, who have built a strong bond over the years even after Belichick’s split from the New England Patriots, were spotted exchanging words during the game.
Talking about the interaction he had with Belichick, Stevens said, “We talked about everything, but mostly what was going on in the game. He’s such a fan of competition and watching competition and always thinking about how it applies to what he’s doing on a daily basis.”
Stevens further appreciated the future Hall of Famer for the amount of successful work he had done in 24 years and termed him as one of the GOATs.
Great luck for the Boston team that they finished with another win and are already two steps ahead of the Pacers in the series after Thursday night.

After a close win on Tuesday in the opening game of the series thanks to Jaylen Brown’s late heroics, the Celtics looked way more confident. They let the Pacers take a 2-point lead in the first quarter but then took the grip and established their supremacy in the following three quarters, putting up more than 31 points in each of them and finishing with a dominant 126-110 win.
Jaylen Brown was the star of the show, adding 40 points to Boston’s scoreboard, while teammates Jayson Tatum and Derrick White chipped in 23 points each and Jrue Holiday contributed with a double-double of 15 points and 10 assists.
On the flip side, the Pacers had Pascal Siakam, who scored 28 points, to provide on the offensive field whereas the others couldn’t score more than 16 points, which led to the defeat.
The Pacers will get a chance to bounce back on Saturday in front of their home crowd to change the 2-0 series record but the Celtics’ deep arsenal can put the Eastern Conference title beyond reach.
