Kyrie Irving has shown with his actions that he has no plans to return to Boston to play ever again and the team seems to know it as they have been rumored to be the front-runner to sign Kemba Walker.
Instead of letting Irving just leave, the team seems to be purposely putting out bad press and smearing his character before he officially leaves.
On Friday, there was a report sent out about Irving refused to take part in charity activities by not signing some basketballs after the end of the regular season.
Why not bring this up when it happened? After the first round? After they got eliminated by the Bucks? Nope, they waited until they found out he was leaving to put it out now.
Not exactly the type of thing you should when trying to lure future free agents to the franchise.
