What has been rumored for weeks finally came to past when Kyrie Irving bolted from Boston and agreed to sign a deal with the Brooklyn Nets.
This signing comes months after he infamously told C’s season ticket holders in October, “If you guys will have me back, I plan on re-signing here.”
Bruins defenseman Torey Krug found an issue with that, so he took to Twitter and called him out for it.
Irving went from beloved star to completely changing course when he told reporters “I don’t owe anybody s**t” and “Ask me [about my future] July 1st.”
Well, he made his decision on June 30th.
