Bol Bol has one of the NBA’s tallest big men in recent years, currently playing for the Phoenix Suns. While he may not have made waves quite like Victor Wembanyama, the 7-foot-3 power forward remains one of the most talented players of his stature.
Bol usually has a calm and composed demeanor on the court, but recently the Suns PF became frustrated with the officials after a foul call during Saturday night’s crucial game between the Phoenix Suns and the San Antonio Spurs.

Bol Bol accuses NBA refs in NSFW remarks
Bol wasn’t a happy man when the Phoenix Suns played the Spurs. During the game, he was guarding the Spurs rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama when the match referee called a foul on him for doing so.
Bol was clearly frustrated with the ref’s decision as he said some harsh words. “D*ckriding bro, I get it,” said Bol about the referee, after he was penalized for a foul against the NBA blocks leader of 2023-24 season.
The entire situation came up at a crucial moment during play when Bol tried to defend Wembanyama who drive left from the high post, leading to a foul call by the referees. This gave Wemby a chance for a 3-point play. However, it is safe to say Bol got the last laugh as his team outplayed the Spurs on the occasion.

Bol gets last laugh over Wembanyama
Even after the verbal clash with referees, Bol did manage to come out on top as the Suns beat the San Antonio Spurs by 25 points at home, with a final score of 131-106. The Sudanese sensation scored 13 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist in the 19 minutes he played.
However, at the end of the game, Bol was seen holding on to his shoulder in pain. The good news is that he seems to be fine and has been showered with praise and words of appreciation from fans and fellow players. Even his teammate Kevin Durant, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest NBA players of all time, had high praise for Bol.
Durant said, “He’s been more than I expected. His intangibles, his work ethic, his IQ, all the stuff that I didn’t really think about when it comes to Bol, that’s the foundation of his game.”
This is not the first time in this season that we have seen a player have an altercation with the match official. Earlier this week, Chris Paul also had a beef with the NBA official Tony Brothers.
