Bill Russell has taken his beefs to Donald Trump many times before on social media, so it’s not shocking he that he would do so yet again after his recent comments about Drew Brees and the National Anthem.
Russell is in complete disagreement with President Trump saying that kneeling during the anthem is a blatant sign of disrespect.
The Boston Celtics legend took to his personal Twitter account to air his grievance, and this was his message addressed directly at Trump:
As you can see, Russell took it a step further by referring to Trump as a “coward.”
The 86-year-old and his wife even took to the streets recently to participate in the peaceful protests.
