It’s been a roller-coaster ride for Big Baller Brand, and it looks like things could finally be coming to an end.
Despite LaVar Ball trying his best to keep the company afloat, it appears Big Baller Brand is officially done after people started to notice that the company’s online store, which has been offline for months, now redirects visitors to the personal website of the Ball family’s former business partner, Alan Foster.
After being silent on getting accused of embezzling $1.5 million from Lonzo Ball — Foster finally spoke out during a YouTube video as a way to expose the family. He has since filed a countersuit against LaVar and Lonzo Ball that alleges both of them embezzled more than $2.5 million from Big Baller Brand and Ball Sports Group.
Lonzo opted to wear the Nike Kobe IV Protro, rather than his signature Big Baller Brand ZO2 sneaker during the Pelicans’ season opener on Tuesday night.
TMZ asked LaVar about his sons potentially signing with Nike. “Everybody is scouting LaMelo. It’s okay though—I said it is a family brand, didn’t I?…[Lonzo] ain’t signing with nobody. Big Baller Brand. That’s what I said,” LaVar said just last week.
