Injuries haven’t been much of an issue for Simmons over the course of his career, as he has only missed a total of four games during his first two seasons.
The 76ers are in the midst of a tight battle for playoff positioning in the Eastern Conference, but Simmons’ health is more important right now than trying to rush him back on the court.
On the season, Simmons is averaging 16.9 points, 7.9 rebounds 8.3 assists, and a league-leading 2.2 steals per game.
