Ben Simmons is trending for something on social media and he wants nothing to do with it.
Rap fans are at full attention to the opening statements that are underway in the Tory Lanez assault trial. In July 2020, rapper Megan Thee Stallion was injured during an altercation in Hollywood Hills. She later came forward to allege that Lanez, her former friend, shot her in the foot. He denied the allegations, and a back and forth about what happened that night has been going on for years online.
Lanez’s defense team contested that Kelsey Nicole Harris is the person responsible. According to several reports, the defense argues that Harris and Megan got into a verbal argument while inside an SUV with Lanez. He was said to have revealed he had a sexual relationship with Megan, causing a fight between the ladies. Lanez reportedly dated Harris some time prior.
Not only that, it was reported that Brooklyn Nets star Ben Simmons had sex with both women as well.
“The defense’s point is that what happens in the car is this,” @lawyerfortheworkers said. “Tory questions Kelsey, ‘Hey Kelsey why are you backing up Meg for me trying to get it on with Kyle Jenner? Meg has been snaking men from you your whole life. I hooked up with you Kelsey, and then Meg went behind your back and hooked up with me. And, Kelsey, this is not the first time. You had been hooking up with Ben Simmons? Meg went behind you back and hooked up with Ben Simmons.’”

Simmons saw his name trending, so he took to his Instagram story and denied it in a hilarious way.
It’s unclear whether or not the allegations are true about Simmons and the female rapper, but he clearly denies them at this point.
The prosecution also is expected to present evidence, such as text messages from Lanez, that show him apologizing for the situation.
“I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart … shit should have never happened and I can’t change what I did,” Lanez texted Megan, according to prosecutors. “Cuz I genuinely just got too drunk.”
In the meantime, Simmons is averaging 8.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 5.9 assists in 18 games played this year.
