Ben Simmons is one of the biggest names in the Raptors-76ers series that has been scrutinized for his play because he could be great one game, but disappear for long stretches on the offensive end to the point you’f forget he was even out there trying to score.
In seven games against the Raptors, he scored over 20 points just once and scored less than 15 points six times. The worst thing about Simmons was the lack of shots he would take during a game. In game 7, he made four shots but only took five throughout the game in 42 minutes of play.
During an exit interview with the local media, a reporter wanted to know what he was going to do with his shot going forward, and you could tell just how pissed it made Ben by the type of answers he was giving back.
This doesn’t make any better:
If the 76ers expect to go any further deeper in the playoffs, Simmons is going to have to step his game up and expand his shooting to keep the defense honest.
