Roger Goodell is sure to give him a 6-game suspension for this. Not really.
Over the weekend, Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield had a bit of fun when he got to take batting practice with the Milwaukee Brewers.
During that round of batting practice, a fan in the stands got a suprise souvenir when a ball hit by Mayfield came barelling down on her.
Via Bleacher Report:
The Cleveland Browns quarterback apologized for the incident and even signed the baseball after Siemandel saw him leaving the field.
“It looked like they were going to leave, and I hollered, ‘Hey, can you sign the ball you hit me with?'” she said. “He said, ‘Oh, I hit you? Are you OK? Are you doing OK?’ He was super nice about it.”
This will be the first and only time a player hits a woman and actually gets away with it.
