Over the past 48 hours, Ayesha Curry has been trending for all the wrong reasons after a clip came out during a Red Table Talk interview with Jada Pinkett Smith, where she revealed that her husband constantly getting attention from women has her feeling a type of way because she never receives that same type of attention from other men.
“Something that really bothers me and has given me a sense of an insecurity…Yeah, there are all these women throwing themselves. But me, I don’t have any of that. I have zero male attention. And I begin to internalize that, like ‘Is something wrong with me?’ I’m like, ‘That’s not fair.’ I don’t want it. But it would be nice to know that someone’s looking.”
On Wednesday, the wife of Golden State Warriors could no longer ignore the uproar, so she took to Instagram and posted a lengthy piece where she basically stated she was speaking her truth while urging other women to do the same.
