It’s hard to imagine having to play a basketball game just minutes after hearing that one of the players you grew up idolizing had passed away in a helicopter crash. That’s exactly what the NBA is asking their players to do today after reports of Kobe Bryant’s fatal helicopter crash emerged.
Many players around the league were clearly shook by this news, including the Houston Rockets’ Austin Rivers, who was spotted trying to hold back tears on the court before his tipoff against the Denver Nuggets.
