State Farm Arena had no faith that the Atlanta Hawks would still be playing right now.
The last-minute three-pointer by Atlanta Hawks superstar Trae Young on Tuesday put Downtown Atlanta festivities into a bit of an odd situation.
With the Hawks’ 119-117 win over the Boston Celtics at TD Garden, Game 6 is then supposed to be played back in Atlanta. However, the arena was already spoken for as Janet Jackson’s Together Again tour was scheduled to stop at State Farm Arena on Thursday.
Moving either event to the weekend was not possible with Taylor’s Eras Tour hitting nearby Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
It did not take long for State Farm arena to announce that Janet Jackson’s concert will now be Friday. All tickets to Thursday night’s Janet Jackson show will be honored on Friday.

In Game 5, Trae Young was simply sensational as he kept his team’s season alive. Young had a rough regular season, but he bailed his team out at the right time. With the Hawks facing elimination at the hands of the Boston Celtics in Game 5, Young delivered a dagger triple to keep Atlanta’s season alive.
With Dejounte Murray out due to a suspension from an altercation with the referee late in Game 4, Young finished with 38 points and 13 assists in the contest.
He was 14-33 overall, but he connected on five triples on 13 attempts.
The teams will now play Game 6 in Atlanta Thursday. The Hawks will hope to even this series and force a Game 7, while the Celtics look to avoid coming back to TD Garden for a do-or-die game after holding a 3-1 lead.
The Philadelphia 76ers benefited the most from this win as they get to rest more.
