Anthony Edwards is in huge trouble for what came out of his mouth over the weekend.
The Minnesota Timberwolves star shared a video of a group of shirtless men hanging out on the street and referred to the group as “q—r ass n—-s.”
The group of men, who were either shirtless or wearing thin sleeveless shirts, were simply minding their own business. For some reason, Edwards still took issue with that and recorded them with his phone from his car while uttering NSFW slurs in their direction.
The high-flying guard was called out for his comments, and he eventually apologized on Twitter.
‘What I said was immature, hurtful, and disrespectful, and I’m incredibly sorry,” Edwards wrote. ” It’s unacceptable for me or anyone to use that language in such a hurtful way, there’s no excuse for it, at all. I was raised better than that!”

The All-Rookie performer in 2020-21 helped lead the Timberwolves to the playoffs last season. In six postseason contests, he averaged 25.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists.
He’ll be only 21-years-old when the 2022-23 NBA campaign kicks off in roughly a month from now. After acquiring Rudy Gobert in a blockbuster trade with the Jazz, a lot will be expected of Edwards and the T-Wolves this upcoming season.
